Depuis lors, cela fait 2 ans et demi que je suis install\u00e9 et je remarque fr\u00e9quemment des onychomycoses dans mon cabinet de g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste. Environ 5,5% de la population globale pr\u00e9sentent une onychomycose. Ce pourcentage augmente avec l\u2019\u00e2ge : chez les personnes de plus de 60 ans, la pr\u00e9valence atteint m\u00eame les 20%. Les onychomycoses sont souvent peu malignes et ne n\u00e9cessitent dans la plupart des cas aucun traitement m\u00e9dical. Le probl\u00e8me est cependant souvent g\u00eanant et un traitement est r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement demand\u00e9 pour des raisons esth\u00e9tiques.
